100 Mile Baby
I just wanted to send a THANK YOU to Lorraine at Sweet Momma Spa in St. Albert!! I came in for an induction massage on Friday November 4th and I went into labour the next evening and had my beautiful little girl early Sunday morning!! Lorraine was fantastic and I felt amazing after the massage and went home incredibly relaxed. I credit the massage for my week-early labor. I was so excited to meet my little girl and the massage encouraged her to come out to this world... probably because I felt so happy and relaxed afterwards that my daughter couldn't wait to come out and meet me. When my second pregnancy came along with its aches and pains, it was time to start getting massages! Sweet Momma was new to the area at the time and I decided to give it a try. I found the atmosphere was so nice and relaxing from the time I walked in the door. The spa is well laid out with spacious rooms and the therapists really make you feel at home. They take time to find out about your pregnancy and which areas you might want them to focus on. I find the special water beds you have make the side lying massage so much more enjoyable! In the past I found it hard to relax completely when I was lying on my side. The massage therapists are great and are always checking to make sure they are hitting the right pressure points!I continue to attend the spa for massages as my pregnancy is now into its third trimester. I am also recommending the spa to friends and family that are pregnant and looking for some relaxation!Keep up the good work! SylvieI began using acupuncture to relieve discomfort related to pregnancy. I only had an appointment every second week, so results may have been better if I'd gone as often as recommended. However, even going as infrequently as I did the results were great. The pain was less severe immediately, but still present, however after a few sessions the pain became even less noticeable. When Chung used the acupuncture to help my breathing the difference was amazing. For the first time in weeks there was no effort to breath. I never used acupuncture to specifically help with labour or delivery, however I did end up with a short, pain free labour. This was my third baby and the first time I used acupuncture. Based on my experience I have since recommended it to others. SarahI just wanted to tell you how great Katelyn is. I had my baby on Nov 29th, 2010 and then had serious surgery on Dec 10th, 2010. I came for a wax in February, very anxious about my incision. But Katelyn did such a great job, was so gentle and professional. I can't say enough good things about her. Manprit
