Investor Criteria:
Financial Capital
All applicants must meet Sweet Momma Spas minimum financial requirements and have sufficient resources to properly capitalize the potential franchise investment. This includes proof of adequate working capital during start-up and satisfactory credit history.
Education and/or Experience
Applicants must have appropriate education and/or satisfactory experience working in, or with, the service industry. Knowledge and/or experience with pregnancy, spa industry, retail, business management, and business processes will be valuable assets to potential investors.
Communication and Leadership Skills
Applicants must possess the ability to communicate and work well with others, and understand the importance of delivering exemplary customer service. As opening a franchise is not a part-time commitment, applicants must have the dedication, motivation and time required to succeed collectively as a business.

Jolene started Sweet Momma in the fall of 2006 shortly after completing her joint MBA/MAg degree at the University of Alberta.
Sweet Momma markets both products; including a supplement line developed by leading researchers in nutrition product development, and, an array of services; including nutrition, massage, acupuncture and spa services.
Sweet Momma's first location opened in Edmonton in 2006 and a second location opened in early 2009 in St. Albert.
Jolene has a BSc. In Nutrition and Food Science and prior to going back to business school she worked in quality assurance in the food manufacturing industry. Jolene's ultimate goal is to grow Sweet Momma to become the leading health company in pregnancy wellness.
