Cecil horwitz graduated with honors from Macewan University school of acupuncture. Since graduating he has been apprenticing in a herbal apothecary while studying to become a certified clinical herbalist. While practicing Chinese Medicine it soon became evident that there was a need for women to have a natural treatment option for pregnancy related issues, so he began to specialize in womens health. This specialty ranges from menstrual, in/fertility related issues conception to labour, post partum related issues.
Cecil stays current with the most up to date advancements in research and literature in both eastern and western medicine. The best health care is a combination of both eastern and western medicine.

Dawn graduated from the Massage Therapy program at the Mount Royal College and The Bodywork Center in Calgary. Her background also includes study and work in the dance and fitness fields. She loves spending time with her family and is blessed with three active, young boys. Jen is a graduate from Marvel College with a diploma in make-up artistry. She joined Sweet Momma Spa because of its a wonderful concept and place to work. Jen enjoys sharing pregnancy and baby stories with moms and future moms-to-be. Jen has a baby daughter born April 2009.

Jenna completed her esthetics training at Marvel College in Edmonton, Alberta, and immediately began her career in the spa industry after graduation. Her favorite part about working at Sweet Momma is the positive atmosphere and friendly clients she is lucky to work with on a daily basis.

Jessica completed esthetics training in 2005 at the Alberta Academy of Aethetics in Edmonton and has worked in the spa industry since. Jessica brings her extensive experience and knowledge to Sweet Momma South. Jessica's specialization is pedicures, but she is also knowlegeable in facials and has taken extensive training in Eminence Organics skin care.

Jillian graduated from Makami College in July of 2008 with the highest average in her class. After going through school with her brand new baby girl, she knew she wanted to focus her treatments on pregnancy wellness so she could help and share the amazing experiences of motherhood with all the women who come to the spa. She is currently finishing a course in personal and group fitness training so she can teach woman how to balance their bodies to get the most out of massage and to reduce any current or future discomfort.

Katelyn loves the complexity of treating various skin conditions with her extensive knowledge of skin care. She especially enjoys the satisfaction of seeing her clients leave the spa with softer more supple skin as the result of her refreshing body treatments.

Kirsten also has experience in nutrition counsulting for fertility, pregnancy, and postnatal conditions. Kirsten has a love for group infant nutrition classes. And, as a mom of three, Kirsten has lots of first hand experience with breast feeding and plans to continue to advance her education in Lactation Consulting.

Melissa graduated from Alberta Massage Training and is trained in both relaxation and deep tissue massage. Melissa she is able to relieve pregnancy tensions, aid you in becoming pregnant through fertility massage and when you reach the end of your pregnancy Melissa can help you ease into labour naturally through Induction massage.

Theresa Charles graduated from Alberta Massage Training in 2009 and currently specializes in relaxation massages for pregnancy wellness. She is very passionate about massage and loves to share her knowledge and encourage self growth while enhancing the well being of her clients.
